CHARACTER INFO
Name: Giant
Gender: Male
Source: “The Iron Giant”
Canon point: Long after the movie is over and he's reassembled himself.
Age: unknown
Colour: #424242
Chumhandle: ferrumColossus

History: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Iron_Giant
Personality: Simple. The Giant only has the mental capacity of a child, barely able to understand the consequences to his actions. He's very kind and only wants to help, however his size and simple-mindedness usually mean he does more harm than good. It is because of this that he is a pacifist and only ever attacks in self defense.
Abilities & physical limitations: The Giant is upwards of fifty feet tall, made of metal, and can shoot lasers out of his eyes. Needless to say, he packs quite a punch. (Un)Fortunately, he is a pacifist and will hesitate to harm even the orneriest of imps if he doesn't think they're a direct threat. Running away is, and will always be, his first plan for defense.

This all changes, of course, when someone points a gun at him. While he'll try to resist the urge to eliminate the threat (killing is wrong no matter what in his mind), a base part of his programming will attempt to carry out and vaporize any firearms and the being holding the weapon. For some reason this does not apply to knives, swords, bows and arrows, or any other kind of weapon, though.

Strife Specibus: Fistkind, Laserkind
Prototyping: Jalopy (causes underlings to be all rusty and gross, but some higher level beasts (such as ogres) might drive around in rusted-out cars.
Title: Superman of Steel
In-game abilities: The Superman class is a potentially extremely powerful class. However, its power does not lie in offense, but in the support and protection of the hero's teammates and the their consorts.
The aspect of steel is that of of a smelted combination of iron and carbon. This can mean different things to different classes, of course, but for the Superman class it grants a sturdier body and thicker skin, allowing the player to take even the most powerful blows without the threat of death (which is fortuitous, because as a Superman they will be taking more than a few hits for their companions!). They are, however, far from indestructible, and being able to take a punch or twelve certainly won't save them on the battlefield if they're reckless.
Planet: Land of Tunnels and Rails
Essentially an enormous trainyard that spans the entire planet with various pitch-black tunnels going underground, intertwining into a giant network of subway systems. Each tunnel, and each train, is a different size, ranging from toy trains no more than 6 inches tall, to enormous locomotives that dwarf the Giant. The consorts are yellow rats.

The Denizen, Xolotl, has shut down power to the rails, no longer allowing the trains to move and leaving the consorts with no means of transportation.

FC: Hogarth?

The giant opened the door to the barn he had been staying in and poked his head outside. He hadn't really understood what was going on, just that people would die if he didn't do what his server player said. There was something about meteors as well, but he didn't quite understand that part.

He didn't quite understand this part either. Looking outside, he realized that they weren't where they had previously been. His barn (although, to be fair, it wasn't “his barn” so much as it was an abandoned barn he had found and was using for shelter) was no longer surrounded by woody scenery. Instead, it was smack dab in the middle of what appeared to be a trainyard. The various cars of differing sizes scattered about, unmoving.

“Hogarth?”The Giant asked, breaking the silence that otherwise overtook the area. Of course Hogarth wasn't there. He hadn't seen Hogarth since that incident with the missile, but the Giant couldn't help but call out his friend's name anyway. He wasn't really even sure what he expected to hear back.

What he did hear was footsteps. And by the sound of them, they were getting closer. “Hogarth?” He asked again, not caring to hide the excitement in his voice. Was it his friend? How could it be? How did Hogarth even get here? He had no answers for these questions, as is the case with many questions, but that did nothing to halt his excitement.

Excitement turned to confusion, unfortunately, when the Giant was finally able to make out the source of the footsteps. It was an imp. A black, rust-covered being with a tea kettle on its head. The Giant's enormous expressionless eyes made contact with the Imp's for but a moment before retracting his head back into the barn and swiftly closing the door.

The Giant turned, confused, to his Carsprite for answers. The floating ghost-jalopy hovered over his enormous shoulder. “What's that?” He asked, motioning towards the door and the imp behind it.

“Beep.” Carsprite replied, as if that explained everything. The Giant gave a confused look, not understanding what a single beep could mean.

“Wha-” He started again, before being cut off.

“BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.”

And that was the end of that discussion.
